An immersive two-day experience brought global partners together in Ecuador to discover the design, craftsmanship, culture, innovation, and people behind ADRIANA HOYOS.
For the first time, ADRIANA HOYOS hosted Design Week Ecuador 2026 in Quito, bringing together strategic partners and members of the international design community for two days of inspiration, learning, cultural discovery, and meaningful connection.
Created as an immersive brand experience, Design Week Ecuador invited guests to go beyond the finished product and discover the ideas, people, processes, and craftsmanship that have shaped ADRIANA HOYOS over the past three decades.
The first day began at the ADRIANA HOYOS manufacturing facility in Calderón, Quito, where guests experienced firsthand how the brand’s luxury furniture is created. The behind-the-scenes factory tour offered a closer look at each stage of production, revealing the balance between skilled artisanal work, material expertise, precision, technology, and innovation that defines the company’s vertically integrated manufacturing process.
More than a factory visit, the experience allowed guests to understand the human work behind every piece. From structure and finishing to upholstery, detailing, quality control, and final execution, creating a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship at the core of ADRIANA HOYOS.
From manufacturing to culture, the experience continued through Quito’s historic center, connecting guests with the architecture, heritage, and creative environment of the city where the ADRIANA HOYOS story began.
The day concluded with an exclusive cocktail experience and a special preview of PRIVÉ, ADRIANA HOYOS’ new ultra-high-end category. Presented ahead of its official public introduction, PRIVÉ offered guests an early look at a new expression of the brand centered on exceptional materiality, refined detailing, customization, and elevated craftsmanship.
On the second day, guests experienced the ADRIANA HOYOS flagship showroom in Cumbayá, discovering how the brand’s philosophy is translated from individual furniture pieces into a complete design environment. The visit provided a closer look at the way collections, materials, finishes, and spaces are curated to communicate the ADRIANA HOYOS lifestyle and its Living in Fashion philosophy.
A visit to the brand museum traced key moments from the company’s 30-year history through collections, international milestones, design awards, and memorable pieces, including a presentation of miniature versions of some of ADRIANA HOYOS’ most recognizable chairs. Guests also explored the immersive room, designed to create a deeper connection with the brand’s story, creative universe, and evolution.
Education and the exchange of ideas were also central to the second day. A curated series of talks brought together different perspectives from across the design community, including Stephanie Larsen, Founder and Principal Designer of Stephanie Larsen Interior Design; interior designer Sara C.; and architect José Rafael Holguín, Director of José Holguín Arquitectura. Conversations explored topics ranging from interior design and the evolving creative industry to architecture, artificial intelligence, innovation, and well-being.
Design Week Ecuador concluded with a special closing gathering alongside the Perez Hoyos family, bringing the experience back to the people and vision behind the brand. It was a moment to reflect on three decades of design and international growth while looking toward the ideas, relationships, and possibilities that will shape its future.
Throughout the two-day experience, every touchpoint was designed to immerse guests in the world of ADRIANA HOYOS, from the hands and technology behind its furniture to its design philosophy, service, hospitality, cultural roots, and global vision.
Design Week Ecuador 2026 ultimately transformed the origins of ADRIANA HOYOS into an experience: connecting global partners with Ecuadorian design, exceptional craftsmanship, innovation, and the creative culture behind the brand.
